Mallow arts fest 2023 is packed with activities for all the family, and The Hibernian Hotel are delighted to sponsor and support this festival.

"The Long Shots"
Insomnia Coffee, O’ Brien Street, Mallow . 4pm
"The Long Shots" are a new band formed by Ray (mandolin) and Robbie Barron (guitar and vocals), that play a mixture of songs and tunes that traverse several musical genres. Their set list includes music from The Beatles to Brazilian Choros
with lots of interesting musical detours along the way! They are joined by Michael Riordan on double bass and Geraldine Barron on accordion and mandolin.
Art Exhibition
Curated by Colman and Marie Dalton
From 6pm on Wednesday, 26th July at West End Art Studios, running for 10 days. This exhibition will feature a collection of more than 50 works by 40 leading Irish andInternational artists. These works are on loan from private collections across Ireland
and will include works from Van Gogh, Matisse and Jack Yeats

Mary Bradford will facilitate a writer’s workshop part of Mallow Arts Festival Literary Programme. Mary is the Irish published author of four novels and four novellas. Living now in her native county Cork, she previously lived in Dublin. Her short stories continue to appear in newspapers, magazines and anthologies.This workshop is free but must be booked. written and performed by Timmy O' Mahony The Story follows Tom Walsh as he watches over the world from the comfort of his bedroom in his parents house, on Cork city Northside. But when his best friend goes missing, Tom is forced to venture outside in search of the truth.Tom does nothing but watch Sherlock Holmes films so after the initial shock of his best friend George going missing, he starts to think like Sherlock Holmes in a frantic effort to save George before it's too late. It is a journey of the self as he attempts to find his way in the world again.
