About Heroes Powerchair Football Club
Heroes Powerchair Football Club is a Cork-based team that provides people with physical disabilities the opportunity to play competitive football using specially designed powerchairs. The club is built on teamwork, passion, and inclusion — proving that sport truly is for everyone.
Powerchair Football is a fast-paced and exciting version of the game, played indoors on a basketball-sized court, with players controlling their powerchairs using incredible skill and precision.
Heroes Powerchair FC competes in the Irish Powerchair Football League and has become a shining example of community spirit, determination, and sporting excellence. Funds raised from events like this quiz night help with the maintenance of equipment, travel to matches, coaching, and ongoing club development, ensuring every player can continue to enjoy and compete in the sport they love.
